Either/Either was written, designed and printed in the winter of 2023 and published in partial fulfilment of the MA @ekagd_ma. This publication, a perpetuation of the original *Either/Either* (and also named after it), builds upon stories that explore movement, transformation, and world building, both physical and theoretical, and reimagines them in the contexts of design and publishing practices. First, as a tactic to maneuver around restrictive publishing regimes, to depart from states of incomplete reflection and bring up narratives that are otherwise inaccessible and underrepresented. Second, as a research methodology to build a character-driven graphic design approach, emphasizing embodiment as an exercise to identify and inhabit the research and its actors entirely. And further, as an opportunity to learn other practices, and in turn building a pool of resources from the worlds outside of graphic design. The project exists in the form of found loose pale sheets, that serve as anecdotes to finding the work. The work is accompanied by a mixtape that contains sounds that were heard, recorded, sung, cried, and emoted, in the process of this research project.
