NNNNNNNNNNNN was Noah Emanuel Morrison’s first solo show, and it considered how and where racist language became
camouflaged within the city. The exhibition drew attention to the
contemporary phenomenon of the NGR/S/Z series of graffiti, present
throughout Tallinn. Walking around as a Black, queer-identified
individual, I was deeply affected by these. Reactive and
self-reflective, the works veered from research-informed to quotidian in
their interventions into Tallinn’s racialized public space.
